The office of Instructional Multimedia Services (IMS) has the primary responsibilities of supporting technology in the classroom and supporting the audio/visual needs of events that take place on the Whitman College campus. It is the goal of this office to be able to provide excellent service to the Whitman community for many of its audio/visual needs.
- Smart classroom training
- Event support for Faculty and Staff
- Event support for Whitman sponsered events
- Event support for external groups
- Support of video conferecing
For assistance with multimedia presentations, and media duplication, please visit the Multimedia Development Lab (MDL).For classroom equipment, IMS will replace up to one blown data projector lamp per projector per academic year at no charge. Additional replacements must be paid for by the department using the projector. Request event support here.
