How To Register a Personal Phone Number and Personal Email Address for Whitman Account Self-Service

This article will assist you in how-to register a personal phone number and/or a personal email address for account reclaim and password recovery.

Who this is for: All Whitman community members with an active network account.

In a browser, navigate to id.whitman.edu
Type in your Whitman username (everything before the @whitman.edu of your email address)
Click “Go”
Choose “Log In with Whitman Account”
If prompted, enter your Whitman username and password
If prompted, verify your identity via Duo
Click the down arrow next to your name in the menu bar of the page
Select “Profile Settings” from the drop-down menu
Select “Edit Profile”
Enter a personal email address in the “Personal Email” field
Select “Save”

In a browser, navigate to id.whitman.edu
Type in your Whitman username (everything before the @whitman.edu of your email address)
Click “Go”
Choose “Log In with Whitman Account”
If prompted, enter your Whitman username and password
If prompted, verify your identity via Duo
Click the down arrow next to your name in the menu bar of the page
Select “Profile Settings” from the drop-down menu
Select “Edit Profile”
Enter a personal mobile phone number in the “Mobile” field
Select “Save”
