IMS CET has a pool of checkout equipment including data projectors, portable screens, video cameras, and more. This equipment can be requested by Whitman faculty, students, and staff for academic and administrative purposes.

*Checking out equipment from IMS will look a little different this year.  We now ask that you Please send an email to ims@whitmanto cet@whitman.edu to make your reservation.  If you would simply like to schedule an appointment to see what's available, please send IMS CET an appointment request.

Please email us to schedule an appointment between the hours of 8 AM - 5 4 PM, Monday through Friday to schedule pick up at the WCTS helpdesk. 

IMS CET offers checkout, delivery, setupoperating instructions, and operation of multimedia equipment. IMS requests two (2) business days notice for classes between 8 am and 4 pm Monday through Friday and seven (7) business days notice for all other needs. We may not be able to provide the support you need without sufficient notice. Equipment may be checked out for a maximum of 5 business days .  Equipment under high demand may be reduced to shorter checkout timesand equipment availability is on a first come first served basis. 

Available equipment includes:

• DVD/VCR Combos
• Data projectors (for projecting computer, video, and document camera images)
• Presentation remotes (USB and Bluetooth)
• Document cameras (for projecting pictures, text, and 3D objects)
• Camcorders (flash memory and flip HD)all use SD cards for video storage) - CET does not checkout SD cards. If you need an SD card, one may be purchased through CET
• Portable voice recorders/players
• Meeting OWL cameras
• Portable projection screens
• JBL PartyBox On-The-Go Portable Bluetooth Speaker (JBL Speaker)
• Tripods
• Laptops Mac & PC (only available to faculty and staff)Conference call VOIP phones (only available to faculty and staff)

*Checkout equipment will not be delivered or set-up by IMS if there are other spaces on campus that have built-in tech and are available for use.  If requesting a laptop to use in a space that has built-in projection, we will not deliver and set upCET.
